Virginia Sex Offender Registries
The Virginia Sex Offender and Crimes Against Minors Registry is a Public Notification Database that was established by the Virginia General Assembly. The registry is maintained by the Virginia State Police. The registry is designed to make information about sex offenders more accessible, not necessarily to warn about a specific individual or the danger level of the individuals who are in the database.
