Utah Sex Offender Registries
Utah Code requires the Utah Department of Corrections to maintain a registry of individuals who have been convicted of sex offenses in the state. The state also requires that the Department of Corrections registers those individuals who are in the Utah State Hospital for mental conditions and those who have been committed or alleged to have committed a sexual offense. The information that the Utah Sex Offender Registry provides is gathered from the offender themselves as well as records.
