South Dakota Sex Offender Registries
The South Dakota Sex Offender Registry is maintained by the Division of Criminal Investigation. The sex offender registry has the purpose of tracking the location of sex offenders that pose a safety threat to the public. The sex offender registry is regulated by the ID Section due to the fingerprint supported information that the directory maintains. The offenders in the registry are also indexed in the FBI’s National Sex Offender Registry.
